Mr. Stanley


Mr. Jeremy Stanley is serving in his first year as Director of Bands at Fultondale High School and his 14th year as a music educator.  His responsibilities include directing the Rainbow Regiment Marching Band, the Fultondale High School Symphonic Band, the Fultondale Jr. High Band, and the 6th grade Beginner Band at Fultondale Elementary.

Prior to his appointment at Fultondale, Mr. Stanley served as the Director of Bands at Upson-Lee High School in Thomaston, Georgia for 10 years.  Under his leadership, the bands at Upson-Lee consistently earned straight superior ratings, as well as numerous best-in-class awards at various marching and concert band festivals throughout Georgia.  In addition, he founded the Upson-Lee Winterguard; a competitive colorguard unit competing locally in the Southern Association for Performing Arts.

Mr. Stanley is a native of Opp, Alabama and is a 2004 graduate of Troy University where he earned is Bachelor's of Music Education while studying Trumpet with Dr. Jim Zingara.

In his free time he enjoys college football (Go Troy!), hiking, traveling, and great food.  Mr. Stanley currently resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his fiancé and 3 dogs.
