Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Kellie Hyatt

Mrs Hyatt
I am a recent graduate in Business and Marketing Education from Auburn University! I teach business education career technical education courses at Fultondale High School. This is my second year in teaching. This year I will be teaching courses in Career Preparedness, Business Technology Applications (BTA), Multimedia Design, and Multimedia Publications. I am also the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) adviser, the Junior High Cheer Coach, the Yearbook Sponsor, and the School Website Key Communicator. Additionally, I am a member of the Army Reserves, current rank of Major, with over 16 years of service. One of my most important jobs though is being a mother to two precious children, my son Marshall and my daughter McKinley and a wife to my husband Brad. I worked in the professional world for 15 years with experience in the financial sector, non-profit social services area, private business ownership, and in the active duty Armed Forces. Academically, I have an undergraduate degree in Sociology from UAB, a master's degree in Public and Private Management from Birmingham Southern College, and a master's degree in Business Education from Auburn University. I strive to bring my real-world experiences along with my academic knowledge to provide the most realistic career and technical education that I can to our students here at Fultondale High School. I am looking forward to a new exciting year, Go Wildcats!
