 FHS Makes AYP for 2012 

AYP is how the federal law, No Child Left Behind, measures the achievement of schools, districts and states. For AYP, schools are graded on four key areas: Reading, math, attendance rates and graduation rates. The federal government requires that schools’ math and reading scores improve every year, with the goal of having all students proficient by 2014. Congratulations Fultondale High for meeting AYP for 2012.

FHS Science Olympiad Teams Compete

Fultondale High's 2012-2013 Science Olympiad Teams have shown great competitive skills this year. In the Shades Valley Invitational Tournament, our High School team took 1st place, while the Jr. High team was 2nd. In the Jefferson County Tournament in January, the Jr. High team finished 1st and the Sr. High team finished 2nd.  In the Regional competition in Huntsville, the Jr. High team took 3rd place and qualified to compete in the State Finals on March 16th. We wish them luck as they represent our school.  Go Wildcats!!
